Those of you who have been keeping up with the WebRev blog know I usually treat Facebook as a necessary annoyance. I've written about numerous security issues and privacy faux pas over the last several months.
But today, I'd like to talk about something they've done that I really like, the Facebook Page Browser. (Here's the back-story.)
The page browser will show you pages based on those liked by you and your friends. The pages highlighted in blue are the pages you have already "liked," and you can select from the remaining ones, or keep browsing. There are page categories for musicians, sports, celebrities, movies, TV Shows, media, politicians, brands, and games. On the right is a column listing the friends you have the most in common with, based on your and their page selections.
This is very easy to use, and quite helpful for networking purposes. Check it out!
