We've been talking a lot about Facebook this week, so I've decided to wrap up the week by pointing out some of the wild and crazy things that Facebook users (some, anyway) like to do on the site.
Hey Facebook, breastfeeding is not obscene (Official Petition to Facebook) - This group has been formed to give women the "right" to post pictures of themselves and each other breastfeeding their babies. I'm not sure why they want to do this, but apparently over 260K people are in favor of the idea.
I check behind the show curtain for murderers when I go into the bathroom - A Facebook fan page loosely dedicated to the movie "Psycho," and similar movies. Nearly 650K people can apparently relate.
I survived Y2K, Bird Flu, Mad Cow, 9/11 and Swine Flu. 2012, Here I Come! - Over 2M Facebook users are shaking their fists in defiance of the legendary fear surrounding the year 2012.
Fake Facebook Quotes: This little application is not part of Facebook, but creates what appears to be a Facebook threaded conversation from ordinary text.
Failbook - A project of the people who brought us the LOL Cats and the LOL Dogs, Failbook keeps track of the some of the craziest status updates on Facebook.
God still love me, even if I don't forward those emails - over 71K people are apparently tired of being guilt-tripped or scared into forwarding chain e-mails to ten of their friends.
Top 25 Status Updates of All Time - This is a third-party app on Facebook, on which users vote on their favorite status updates. Some of them are pretty funny.
Funny Photos - Nearly 10K people have clicked "like," on this community fan page, to receive updates of funny photos posted by other Facebook users. I'm not sure, but I think this page might be for people with rather boring friends.
