 SMS My Love

The Nielson Company is reporting that American teens now send and receive an average of 3,339 texts every!  I hope their parents aren't on a plan that charges per text message.

According to the report, 43% of teens say texting is their primary reason for getting a phone, with safety and keeping in touch with friends being secondary reasons, and teens are now finding text messaging to be more convenient than actually calling someone on the the phone.

These kids aren't just exchanging "Where RU's," however.  They're sending photos, videos, and playing games.  According to the Neilson report, data usage is on the rise, and is expected to do so.

Hmm.  I guess it's not a surprise that Tenosynovitis is also on the rise?  Save your thumbs, kids - They're the main thing that distingishes you from your pets, and you're going to need them when you're older!
